BESPOKE, SPECIALIST TRAINING FACILITIES FOR GEOTECHNICAL HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING
This course is aimed at all planners, designers, managers, supervisors and on-site operatives and engineers who are likely to encounter and work with asbestos in soil as part of a ground investigation. This course will greatly enhance understanding of asbestos-related risks and how to safely manage them.
"Provided a good background into the nature and prevalence of asbestos (it's everywhere!) and also clarified potential health impacts. However, the most useful element of the course was that it provided practical and pragmatic procedures for dealing with asbestos within the ground investigation process. The course has given me the confidence to develop methods of workings to ensure that ground investigation works can proceed safely. The course also helped to clarify responsibilities of Clients and landowners in assessing the potential presence of asbestos. Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending this course to ground investigation practitioners"
